Wordless Wednesday: 2nd day of preschool

Day number 2 of preschool

o today is Aidan's second day of preschool and he is none to happy this morning about going.

I know this is for the best but I have a feeling this morning is going to be very unpleasant getting him in there. So please pray for him if you are reading this, that he will just be at peace and have a good day and start to enjoy class. This is so hard on mommy and Aidan.

Well, lots of news..

On Thursday, Aidan started the KDO (kids day out) program at the First Baptist Church here. He is a bit delayed in his speech and he has a very passive personality and just doesn't conversate to the level he should so the doctor told us to try putting him in a preschool program first before we try therapy so we are hoping this will help him. However him being a man of routine it was not easy that's for sure but he survived his first day, except he didn't get to eat lunch because either someone else had the same lunch box or the teachers weren't watching and another kid took his lunch and gave him theirs. Because he came home with leftovers that were not his, so they need to pay a bit more attention in their class b/c I am a bit upset he went from 7 in the morning (when he eats breakfast) until 2 with nothing of substance. And because of his personality he won't speak up and tell them if they gave him the wrong thing or if another child took his. So that needs to be monitored more carefully.

Second thing is last weekend Gabriel went on his first hunting trip with Dad (see pictures in Wordless Wednesday below) well mainly they just scoped out the land but today they are out to get some squirrells. I spent the night last night trying to convince Gabriel he didn't want to shoot those cute little animals but to no avail. Anyways it will be fun for him and hubby and a bonding experience. So hopefully for their sake I will have pictures of them this afternoon with their catchs. Have a great Sunday.
