Over at Candid Carrie's it's that time of the week again. Here are my picks for this Fridays' Foto Fiesta.
Just showing a little irony. Why is it my boys decided to play with the house and my darling little princess is digging in the dirt?? So much for being clean and dainty right!
Okay so my son's name is not Bubba, it's Gabriel but Bubba is his nickname being the older brother and all. Today he wanted to make brownies so he and I did some mother/son bonding over baking brownies. He is an awesome helper I might add.
First I cracked the eggs (I would much rather me get salmonella than him) and added them to the brownie mix, then I measured the oil, I feared him + a Sams club size of canola oil = disaster waiting to happen, once measured in he poured the oil
Followed with the water
My what a good pourer he is, the better to make the brownies my dear!
Next it's time to put those muscles to use and stir, stir, stir:
Brownie batter all stirred up and ready to pour
The spoons that were made for lickin'
What better way to bond than licking raw brownie batter off the spoon (wasn't I just saying I wouldn't let him crack eggs for fear of salmonella, and yet I will let him eat the raw egg! Even I don't understand my reasoning!)
Yep anything that includes chocolate and spending time with my kids is a dream come true.
Why is it that when 8:45 p.m. rolls around and all the children are getting snuggly tucked in their bed, my kids decide it's time for their second wind?
I kid you not every night this is what happens and for what reason, really than none other than to see just how far they can push me I guess. Well Mama can only be pushed so far and then she doesn't budge and when mama doesn't budge you better lay your toosh in bed or it's gonna be in trouble big time.
So now that it is 9:16 and mommy has threatened them with Daddy (hee hee) my kids have finally passed their second wind and are watching Maggie the Fericious beast with heavy eyes. Here's to hoping they fall asleep quickly so I can fall asleep quickly. But that cup of coffee I drank to keep up with them may post a bit of a problem
For today's Friday Foto Fiesta I wanted to share my favorite pictures from my daughters 3rd birthday!
So as noted we went to Fun City for Bella's birthday party last Saturday and while I have a ton of pictures I will just share a few. Please excuse the falling off the shoulder shirt, the adorable birthday outfit ended up being a hoochie in training outfit because she would not quit pulling on it. Anyways here are a few pictures of her with her cupcakes, her birthday candle and showing you the real way to eat cupcakes. Yes she is talented she at the whole thing hand free!

Let's see today my kids have hit each other,
talked back to me,
smarted off to me,
pulled each others hair,
threw their food across the room,
drew on the doors,
splashed the bath water all over the bathroom,
thought it would be funny to pull out all the pots and pans,
made a mountain with 40 pairs of my shoes,
threw all the clean clothes that were folded onto the floor,
sprayed lime action windex on clean clothes,
poured coke all over the kitchen floor,
I think that covers the first 10% of the day, oh and told me I was fat.
Yes this day has gone well but if tomorrow could go a little better I would greatly appreciate it! In fact if you could just send some angels to strap them in their beds for the night and let them have a dream so good they sleep until at least 10 A.M. I would believe I was in Heaven.

Here actual birthday is not until the 17th (wahhhhh I can't believe my baby will be 3) but we are having her party today. We will be going to Fun City, the generic Chuck E Cheese, and having the time of our lives! We will spend 50.00 in tokens to get a prize that would only cost us 4.00 (somehow we never learn to just buy the dang prize and forgo the tokens). So I am sure I will be back here later to share a bit of the insanity that went on because as I am sure you all know there is never lack for excitement at a birthday party for a 3 year old!
So my kids have this fascination with dollars. They think it is the coolest thing when they have one. So tonight my lovely little Bella (I am sure you will read quite a bit about her she is the one who always gives me stories) got my purse and decided to get some dollars for her and her brother.
They took the three dollars I had left to my name until payday tomorrow and proceeded to play with them. I am fine with this as it occupies them so I can finish a reply on The Kiddie Clique because we all know replying to friends should take precidence over your children right! Oh wait, I think I made up that rule. Anyhoo back to the story, after about 2 minutes Bella comes running in yelling "Oh no mommy!!!!!!! Mommy!!!!!!!! Mommy, Aidan mess it up!!!! Aidan did birthday party!!!!!!!!"
Ahah moment- I think she relished this as he is usually the one telling on her, so she was milking it for all it was worth!
Well knowing good and well what birthday party means, I drag myself to find my three whole one dollar bills in about 100 small pieces. So my lovely son (with the help of my daughter I am sure, she just decided it best to leave her name out when telling) had a birthday party with my money!
Dang that could have bought me almost a whole coffee at Starbucks. Oh well no use crying over confettii money right!

My daughter does not lack in the mischief department, you can rest assured if she is being quiet she is getting into something like fake blood to give me a heart attack, in my makeup so the 75.00 I just spent has went to waste, finding biker attire (I guess she must think timmy toddler will come and whisk her away on the harley powerwheels someday) or wrapping herself for Christmas. So in the very least she is a mess but while being a mess she uses alot of energy.
So I started this blog so it could be dedicated just to my kids and the going ons in their lives. My first blogA Daily Dose of Toni has taken a bit of a turn and the focus isn't so much on the kids but me and my ramblings so I wanted to have one that just focuses on my kids and their funnies.
I hope my readers will follow me over here so they can watch my kids grow, cry when they cry and laugh at all the shennigans they pull (someone needs to because I usually dont' find them funny)
