We are going to put him in a kids day out program 2 days a week. So, this is going to be a big thing for him and me! He is not too thrilled about it right now but I am hoping that once he gets in there he will enjoy it and it will help him to excel in talking and social behavior. So I am crossing my fingers this goes well and helps him get ready for kindergarten. Wish us luck.

My son had similar problems a few years ago and he ended up staying after school a few nights a week to do work with his teacher on interacting with the other students and learning social etiquette... for a while everything he said seemed very manufactured, but after a few weeks it became natural for him and now he has no trouble at all. I'm sure your son will have a similar experience.

my Aidan was in a mother's day out program last year and this summer. today was his first day at the preschool. Asher goes one day a week to mother's day out now so I get one 5 hour block of peace each week. did you have a hard time finding a good place for him? we looked for months before we chose FUMC.
